Library Rules

A school library enables the students to gain knowledge and inculcate in them sound reading habits. Librarian is available to guide the students.

• Silence is to be observed in the Library.
• Students are allowed to use the library in their respective library periods along with the concerned teachers.
• Books should be checked before taken out of the library at the time of issuing. Any writing, marking underlying on the library books is absolutely forbidden.
• In case of any damage or loss of book, he/she will have to replace with a new copy, or pay the cost of it.
• Pupils are allowed to keep the books borrowed from the library only for two weeks. A fine will be levied on all the late returns.
• Books should be returned as per the due date mentioned on the library card. A fine of Rs. 1/-per day will be imposed on any book returned after the due date.
• Reference books, magazines, periodicals, newspapers, etc, are available for common use and are not issued to the students.
• Pupils are allowed to carry only a pen and a note book to the library.
• All shall obey the library rules and submit to the directives issued by the Librarian.
